I haven't seen "Minnie" posts for this date....:confused3 Let's have a roll call....I am traveling with DD 12, DD 8, and DS 8.

Anyone else onboard?

I'm with ya! And DH, DS (11) and DD (9). There's a small thread started but I guess it's fallen a few pages back. Something like "11/29/07 3 days of wedding wonder" I know we have "the Bride" and Lori (Steve's Wife). Sorry if I've forgotten the other posters.

We're getting close!!! I think I'm going to spend the day looking for our rental car - well, at least trying to get one at a better price. I found one all right -just don't want to spend $405!

Hi folks! I with you too! I just didn't want to crash the wedding thread. :goodvibes It's just my DS5 & I cruising. It's our 4th Disney cruise and my 5th cruise. We've only done a 3 day once, so it's gonna be WAY too short, but I just needed to get a mini-fix and feed my DCL craving while waiting for my cruise next May. And I'm not taking my son in May because he'd have to miss too many days of school, so this is sort of a way of easing my guilt of cruising without him. :guilty: He's been bugging me like crazy to take him on another cruise and I just couldn't stand the thought of how sad he'll be when I go without him next May in light of how much he loves DCL and wants to go so badly! At his age, he won't realize how short this cruise is.....he'll just be thrilled about being on DCL again! It's been just over a year since our last time and he STILL talks about it ALL the time. Yup, I've created a true addict! :rotfl2:

OK....I'm gonna go post the same on the other thread. Yup, I'm gonna CRASH the wedding thread (but not the wedding...I promise)! :lmao:

I'm wondering if we should combine both threads?

I'm new to the boards, but am glad there's a call for all those traveling our date! My DH and I will be traveling with DD5 and DD2. Hoping to meet some other families with kids the same age (I know we'll find a bunch once we are one board).

We've got a corner in each room devoted to items that need to be packed! I've started working on my DD's clothes, my clothes, etc. I've been really busy making notes from all the great suggestions on the DIS! Some of it may not be neccessary, but I'm glad that people are sharing all their tips!

By the way, I've read on a few posts where people have brought on coolers. I recently read that you cannot do that. Can you bring bottled water? Wine? Soda? The last time we sailed with DCL we brought all our own stuff and ordered the cheese tray from Room Service while enjoying the view from the Veranda. A lot has changed since then so I'm curious......

My packing is out of control...and that's nothing new!! I will end up with more suitcases filled with extras (surprises for the kids etc) than actual clothing!! :goodvibes I'm use to traveling with large group of friends and making surpises for the kids/adults..this time I don't have that large group..BUT, the Tinkerbell/FairyGodmother in me says I must share surprises with as "Minnie" cruisers as possible...I thought traveling with just my kids would keep the suitcases to a minimum..but, I was wrong!!:confused3 I think I will post asking if anyone wants to share their cabin number with me so that I can leave something..otherwise I plan on radomly leaving a treat.

I don't know what the current rules are about bringing stuff onboard. Last year we did bring some glass bottled pirate sodas onboard in our carry on...Someone in our group brought water bottles in their luggage (they leaked)...and someone else had "Minnie" bottles that made it in their luggage. I am sure if you ask what the latest rules are..you'll get an answer!! It is nice to be able to have the mixins' in your cabin.. That is something that I haven't planned out yet?? Not being a drinker...and really..not being someone that would drink alone....I was counting on maybe a trip or 2 or 3...to the Cove Cafe for a Banana Foster Martini...I've been waiting a year for another!!!!

Back to packing...and list making....:thumbsup2
