Salem is on our "to do " list. I think it would be so cool to live in an area with such history. I'd love to see Boston too. And the whole pilgrim thing. We go to Gettysburg and the other Civil war sites alot. We like the combination of history and creepiness. Dh had relatives in the Confederate army, mine were Union.

Plimoth Plantation is fun if you like history. I've been there so many times. But there are still so many things around the area that I haven't seen. But Plymouth is like a second home for our family. We spent many summers visiting, although these days it's nearly impossible to get near the area in the summer. I'm not against tourism, but sometimes I miss the days when Plymouth and the Cape were places that we could go for a relaxing and inexpensive vacation.

I have a whole book of Disney cross stitch patterns that I bought right before Christmas. Right now I'm working on a tote bag and then need to do another backpack (different design) for a friend of ours. She's going on a cruise in June and asked me to make it for her even though it's not a Disney cruise. The tote bag is just something to do and I'll probably try to sell it.

Let me see it when you're done and maybe I'll buy it! We don't have alot of historical things around but the lake is down the road and there is alot to do in Cleveland but we just don't. The Rock and Roll hall of fame has been here for years and we have yet to go. I guess we just don't appreciate what we have, ya know?

Back to Tracy's post to me last night, since I missed it because I got off the computer right after my last post so I could watch CSI...

My BIL is originally from the Cleveland area. Willoughby Hills to be exact. Never been there myself, but I have been to Dayton and Columbus. And I've spent a fair amount of time in Fairborn since BIL was stationed at Wright-Patterson.

I've had season tickets to the Pawsox for about 15 or so years now and I've been attending games there since I was 16. (For those who don't know, the Pawsox are the AAA minor league team of the Red Sox.) So yeah, I'm a Red Sox fan.


Please don't give the Yankee fans any slack, I have to hear them all the time. I didn't want you to feel left out of the sillyness. Wouldn't blame ya if ya do.

Hubby is the only Yankee fan who gets any slack, but mainly because he's a baseball fan first, so he can appreciate the Sox too. And he was happy for me when they won, and even went to the Parade.
