We did - alexturner74 & I are married. I just got tired of reading all the blogs over his shoulder, so I finally (after years) created my own login recently. And I guess she forgot to put my name on the FE list next to his. No biggie.

But back to FE ... I finished all the adult goodies today, so now I just have to put the kids' goodies together.

Thanks to everyone in the FE who responded so quickly. I already got 12 responses. Just waiting on 8 more and I'll send out the list again.

Now for a really important question....

I think my kids are on to me (re: the surprise). My oldest either read some of my text messages to friends or overheard me somehow (I thought I'd been really careful). According to my middle son, he was telling all his friends at Hebrew school today that we're going to WDW for Mom's bday. Now what?! I'm so bummed because I really wanted to surprise them day of. So do I let the cat out of the bag now and let them be excited for the next 10 days or do I deny, deny, deny until the last minute. Advice? Suggestions?

Yes, DH is traveling for work this week, so I'm posing as a working single mom of two kids this week. Unfortunately, the poor little dears seemed to have a touch of bad colds this morning. Better this week than next, though!

Got pirate? I wanted to share these pictures of my daughter on the Disney Wonder during Pirate Night in April 2010!
It was by far-rrrr, fun!

My baby and I on Pirate Night Sept 2010! She is 7 years old and loves children of all ages. I really hope she makes some new friends on this cruise!

Going on 11/20 cruise but NEWBIE..first cruise, first Disney trip! Is it too late to get in on this fun FE thing for this trip?

We are veteran cruisers but never participated in FE exchange. We made our FE and would like to participate also We have 2 rooms and are trying to calculate number of treats and when and where to deliver. I have seen cruisers with lists of staterooms and would love some guidelines. Please share any info that may help

Going on 11/20 cruise but NEWBIE..first cruise, first Disney trip! Is it too late to get in on this fun FE thing for this trip?

I am sorry to announce that the list was closed October 15. With 25 families we needed time to prepare. Some on this cruise have already left home to begin their vacations.

We are at 25 families and the list will be closed as of tomorrow...If anyone else wants to join after tomorrow (10/15/2011) they will be notified that they might or might be getting gifts from everyone since the final list will be out. Some people do make extra just in case but some make JUST enough! lol Hope everyone is ok with keeping the list together since it did stop at 25. I will go through the list again and my PM's tonight to start finalizing the list. It has come to the time where I will need everyone's stateroom number to add to the list. I hope to be totally done with the list by Sunday, at that point, I will email it everyone...I'm sure everyone is just as excited as my family!!!

I will make a small suggestions to you though. Some of us bring extra gifts. Rather than trying to contact everyone to see if they want to exchange with you, you should arrive at the meet-up in the Atrium at 3:00 pm on 11/20/2011. Many of us will be meeting there. You could have cards printed with your room numbers and occupants names to hand out to those interested. I am sure there will be an extra list floating around with everyone's rooms numbers . I will bring an extra couple if you are interested.

Of course you wouldn't be able to expect participation from everyone, but some of us would be happy to share a few extras.

I will be resending out the FE list so I can send you a copy if you PM me. I would list you as optional for those that have already finished shopping and assembling their gifts. I can make extra for kids just not sure how many extras for adults I have. If I counted correctly, our current list has a total of 24 cabins/families participating with a total of 27 adults and 37 kids. Some people choose to do one gift per cabin/family, and some choose to do for each person and I myself am doing one gift per cabin for adults and one for every kid.

So if you still want to participate in the FE even though we can't guarantee how many will participate back, just PM me and I'll add you and copy you on the list.

Actually that's a good idea. The last minute people can form their own small group. I think it's at least 3 of you so far. We were planning to split the list if it went over 25 cabins anyway.

Why don't you PM the other two and see if that's what they want to do? I have a feeling there will be a few others that want to join in with you at the last minute. And then it won't feel so overwhelming to you get gifts together for a large group.

It will be decorated for Christmas! And it's beautiful! I'm so ready for vacation. I've gotta get away from all these earthquakes. Give me a tornado anyday (at least I know when those are coming...usually)

We've talked about finding a "cheap" 2013 cruise to book while on the Dream (in less that two weeks!!) to take advantage of the 10% onboard booking discount. Problem is, they've announced the itineraries for the Dream and Fantasy, but not the Magic or Wonder yet. Its likely that we wouldn't keep that cruise but transfer to a different itinerary at a later time since the 10% discount still carries over. Is anyone else thinking about doing this?

Hi all!! I'm so excited!!

I read in the FAQs that we can call and see what movies are playing now that we are within 2 weeks of boarding, but every time I have remembered to call they are "experiencing high call volume"

so....I'll ask you all my very pressing question

The new MUPPET Movie (yay) is coming out on 11/23....the day we get off.....do any of you experienced Disney cruisers think there is any chance we will get to see it while onboard??

Me too! On a couple of the cruises we've been on, there have been movie premiers for movies that have had releases the same week that we've been on the ship. BUT all of our cruises in the past have been 7 nights or longer, so it always overlapped with the movie release date. So I don't know if we'll get to see the movie onboard or not. But, like you, I hope so!!!
