Do November ADRS fill up quickly? We are going 1st week of Nov - 4 separate families - total 8 adults, 3 kids. I would think we would want to eat dinner together but probably not any other meals. We are not interested in character breakfasts this trip.

I think we will probably want dinners at the Polynesian restaurants.

The reason I am asking is that I am a planner, but some others in the group don't see a reason to plan early, but it sounds like lots of people make their ADRS at exactly the 180 day point....

Thanks for any input!!!!!

If you are planning to eat at Ohana....adrs are a must! This restaurant is the hottest ticket in town. For about 8mos now it has been booked solid at 180 days. So if this is a place you are thinking about I would definitely book it.

As for the others, you really take a chance. When we went in Nov 2009 we had our adrs in place, but many did not and everyday there were sandwich boards at every park entrance stating "All TS were booked, please enjoy a meal at CS places". We seen these signs everyday.

It is just hard to predict if you will be able to eat where you want. And that is the biggest thing. You MAY be able to find something somewhere, but will it be what you like (and if a big party...will everyone like it). Will you lose precious park time, will it be at off eating hours...etc.

If you want your meals to be a part of your "good" vacation then you need to plan and book them in advance. If eating isn't a big deal and you can grab a hot dog on the fly....then wing it.

As for me....I plan almost nothing on a WDW vacation, but you can bet my adrs are set!! ;)

Thanks. Yes, I am definitely thinking Ohana would be great for the group.

I was thinking an early dinner time might suit people, but I will ask.

So if I wanted to book for say, November 4th, would I go on the website on May 8th at 7 am EST? Is that the earliest time to make a reservation?

The first week of Nov is actually VERY busy. It's Jersey week where most of Jersey has a few days off from school but also many other states where schools startafter Labor Day it falls during quarter break. DO be aware that most promo deals like free dining will be blacked out that week too. Last year Oct 28 was the last day you could check in and get free dining. All the dinner places in the Poly and other monorail resorts will be booked up pretty quickly unless you like eating after 9pm ;)

You can make your ressies 180 days from your arrival date and 10 days into your vacation if you are staying onsite.
If not onsite, it is still 180 days from arrival you just can't do 10 days into the vacation.

If making them online then you can start at 6am EST. If calling to do ressies it is 7am EST.

Good luck!!
