Nov. 1, 2008 PFTS at F & W?

Is anyone else doing Party for the Senses on Nov. 1? Just curious to see if anyone else is going to be there when we are. I'm so excited I can hardly wait!

Nobody else?? PFTS is my very favorite thing about F & W and I'm about to go crazy waiting for it to be time to go. Time couldn't be passing more slowly...I'm looking forward to meeting our 'celebrity' chefs, too. Last time I was so new at things that I didn't even know who was there. Not this year, baby! I will be READY!

We'll be there too. It is our first time at the Food & Wine Festival and we are really looking forward to it I've read so much about the PFTS, can't wait to attend one

For us, it's more than worth it, but it IS expensive. If I'm honest, I guess I'd have to say for ME it's worth it. I think DH just humors me cuase he's not a foodie at all! Have you ever been before?

Yep! dating back to when they were $79 - those were the days.

I agree, it's more than worth it, (especially for DH and I) but I haven't yet figured out how to control the other spending at wdw. After all, it's vacation...ya gotta have the grand marnier slushy, and the octoberfest in germany, and the marguerita in Mexico...

We've got $1500 saved for the food for 3 of us for 6 days, it we spend $420 on PFTS that makes a daily alotment kinda light. Hoping we can find a way to scrape together another $500.

fwiw - dh doesn't even consider this a maybe. For him, what's F&w without PFTS

We don't even eat any meals during this time. we just spend the whole time grazing.

Got my "tickets" today for PFTS.
We fly out tomorrow - I can't wait! It was 31 degrees this morning with light snow cover and the windshield had to be scraped. Sunny Florida here we come!

So, anyone else want to try and meet up? We probably won't do the concert before hand. Not sure how early we'll arrive. But we are staying the Boardwalk so will probably be walking over around 6PM. I had a WDW MIckey head pin that was green that I just painted with Lime green nail polish, so I'll be wearing that on my long blue mickey sundress! I also have a line green mickey head keychain on my purse, so if you see that hanging be sure to say hi! I'll be with DH and DD.
