Nottingham?

I'm traveling from the US to Nottingham in a few weeks...any suggestions on places to eat or good pubs to visit? Thanks!

Have to visit the Hard Rock Cafe Nottingham. We were there last summer

The castle museum is good and there is also the Tales of Robin Hood attraction ( http://www.robinhood.uk.com/ ), but don't expect Disney class theming LOL

The oldest pub in England is in Nottingham (so they claim) - The Trip to Jerusalem:

There is a fantastic Pub in Nottingham called the Pit and the Pendulum, It's got a great spooky gothic feel to it, you have to walk through a secret door concealed by a bookcase to get to the toilets.

Thanks everyone for the advice....I will likely visit all of the suggested venues, save for the Hard Rock, since we have so many of them in the states!!

There is a really great pizza restaurant called Zizzis near the Market Square - I can also highly recommend the Trip to Jerusalem as I ate there last year!
