I just book us on the DVC 2006 Member Cruise!

Now to wait for that long distance phone bill!

Fun! Planning is almost as good as being there!

The whole dining plan and our "brand spanking new" PAP's have got us (well, ok, me! )thinking..maybe, just maybe another trip in the spring...

But then we'd HAVE to do an add-on - no more excuses!! LOL

I also booked--40 minutes of redailing, 25 minutes on hold, 20 minutes to book--my long distance bill will be like yours. I could never get the 1-800 number to answer so those on the chat said try the 407 number and of course it worked--but I think the $75 I saved will just cover the long distance charges!

We are in category 10--room 7003

Hopefully there will be more Canadians on the ship

I also started with the 1800# but got nothing!

Then once I switched to the 407#, well the dead air happened!LOL

Then the waiting, waiting, waiting! It seemed like forever but think in total 45 in total! I'll find out for sure when the telephone bill comes in next month!LOL

I went with the Cat 7 since DD won't cruise unless we have a verandah!

Plan right now with arriving late Friday Night prior to cruise and hopefully they will have some events prior to the cruise like this past one. Then Cruisin' for 4 days! Then of course, Food and Wine Festival and since we will be there will have to do MNSSHP!

Hoping to stay SSR prior and then BCV afterwards! Now have to get thru on Monday to MS to book that!LOL

Can't wait!

I hope that they have another member cruise the following year, Mom really wanted to go next year, but we don't have the points for both of us, and I am going on a Double dip in December. So, please let us know if they annouce a 2007 cruise.

I'll have a full report when we get back! I figured the next cruise would have been 2007 but since I promised myself that I would be on the next one........LOL

So it has to be 2006!

One Problem!

I have not been able to find the Welch's Frozen Passion Fruit Juice in Toronto. And it's just not the same drinking it under a Maple Tree!

Don't ya just love how we've managed to create these "monsters" ... the last 4 WDW resorts we've stayed at have had slides ... I can just HEAR my kids the next time we book the All Stars ... "but MOOMMMM, there's no slide here"

Sounds like a wonderful vacation ... ALL aspects of it ! Have you told them at work yet?

Thats how I book my holidays, first one on the calendar every year, they all just laugh, but they can't do much about it, lol.

I managed to get our trip booked for next Oct but 'just' 2 weeks in Disney!

But you do have to share with me.... what's different from a 'member cruise' to a normal one??

First, you must be a DVC Member or have a DVC member book you on. Then you get to Partee with DVC people. This time we will be going to CC twice and have a Sea Day! Basically, it's to Celebrate Disney Vacation Club and It's Members! From what I have read and spoken to others about it, it's a lot of fun!

I'll have a better handle on the whole thing after I've done the cruise! This is my first Member Cruise and am looking forward to it!

Oh, so you ONLY HAVE A 2 WEEK stint in WDW! Gotta love the way we think!

Ok... gotcha..... so you use your DVC points to book? More/less or the same # of points as a 'normal' cruise??

We are planning on doing a cruise/Disney Dec of 2007.... just hoping dh doesn't get 'tired' of my Disney obsession!!lol

and yes JUST 2 weeks.... but it's with the IL's... they are coming with us. 1 week at SSR and hopefully I can book the 2nd at WLV! 2 weeks with the IL's would be torture if it wasn't at Disney!!

That's the beauty of it! You can use All Points, All Cash or a Combination of both!

It's slightly higher than a regular cruise but I for one like that we are going to CC twice!

Have Fun With the IL ~ the only way is the Disney Way!LOL
