Hey everyone! Welcome to my 2nd trip report. :goodvibes
I just got back from Florida today :sad2:, but I'm excited to start my TR~! :thumbsup2
We had lots of fun on this trip & this trip was even "sweeter" than last year's because DDad managed to not lose his wallet or get any speeding tickets! :rotfl:

So before we start anything let's get to the title. The trip was lots of fun & "sweet" and we traveled in the summertime. It is taken from the song "American Honey" by Lady Antebellum (except they don't say "& a Disney vacation" - they say "& American Honey", I just changed that little bit. :]) The song is great and Lady Antebellum is my favorite band.
If you've never heard the song be sure to check it out here:

So let's do some background info:
The travelers:
Me: Celeste, 16 years old
IMG_0111.jpg

My favorite Disney movies are Toy Story & Beauty and the Beast with my favorite character being Belle. I love Soarin' and Space Mountain.

My DSis: Tina, 19 years old
IMG_5365.jpg

I think her favorite movie is The Little Mermaid with her favorite character being Ariel. And I think she likes Space Mountain & Tower of Terror as her favorite rides.

DMom:

My Mom's favorite movie is Lady & the Tramp and her favorite character is Minnie. Her favorite rides are Soarin’, Test Track, & Toy Story Mania!

DDad:

My Dad's favorite Disney movies are Pirates of the Caribbean & The Jungle Book with his favorite character being Mickey. He likes Big Thunder Mountain, Goofy’s Barnstormer [in the first row!], & Test Track.

We were in Disney for 7 days. We arrived on July 28 and left on August 4. From August 4 through August 8 we visited my grandma who lives in Florida.
Here's a day-by-day itinerary:
July 28: arrive, Epcot, dinner at CBR
July 29: Magic Kingdom & Downtown Disney
July 30: Animal Kingdom during the day and Epcot & MK at night
July 31: Hollywood Studios & Monorail resort hopping at night
August 1: Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios at night
August 2: Epcot & DTD at night
August 3: Hollywood Studios & MK at night
August 4: Leave. :(

I'll start my first official update tomorrow.

Thanks for coming! The heat wasn't too bad, I mean it was hot, but not too hot. You said you'll take a break in the afternoon; that will help wioth the heat. Have a great time! :thumbsup2

I've been waiting for the TR! Can't wait to hear all about your trip!
Welcome to the TR, I'll have an update later today!

Nice start - can't wait to read all about your trip!!! :goodvibes

I love your title! I get to see them in a few weeks in 5th row :woohoo: Looking forward to your review

Day 1: Travel & Arrival

Our flight on July 28 was 6 AM, nice and early, so we'd get to Disney as soon as possible! We left our house at around 4. We then drove to DAunt's (MLinDisney) house, she was going to drive us to the airport, so we didn't have to park our car there. When we arrived at the JFK airport we were already checked in online so we went straight for security! After security, we sat at the gate until it was time to board our flight to Disney! :woohoo:
This is how DSis looked on the flight as we were getting ready to take off:

I got the window seat this trip. For many years before this one, I always got stuck on the middle seat because DSis wanted the window and she was older, so she always weaseled her way into the window seat.
Anyway here's my view out the window!

We flew Jetblue, so we had TVs or what I liked (because nothing's on at 6AM) was XM Radio!
Here's my TV as I'm listening to the radio:

Soon we were airborne and on our way to Orlando!
Some pretty clouds on our way:
IMG_3962.jpg

Then about 2 and a half hours later we landed in Orlando! We were so excited. Too bad DSis looks just a tad bit not amused in this next photo:
IMG_3964.jpg

We headed straight to the rental car desk and waited to get our car!
DParents on the line waiting:
IMG_3965.jpg

We were waiting for a few minutes, so like any Diser I occupied myself by taking pictures (like the one of DSis & DParents)
Look at how empty the airport was!
IMG_3966.jpg

Pretty soon we got our car and were driving to DISNEY WORLD!!! :yay:
We passed the Nickelodeon hotel:
IMG_3969.jpg

Pretty soon in the distance I saw the WDW arch!
IMG_3971.jpg

Getting closer!
IMG_3973.jpg

And now we're inside Disney World!
IMG_3974.jpg

We were staying at Caribbean Beach Resort, but first we wanted to stop at the Hess station within Disney World to get a case of water bottles.
IMG_3985.jpg

Me and DSis stayed in the car so I played paparazzi when they came out:
IMG_3982.jpg

They noticed me taking pictures:

Pretty soon we arrived at CBR!
I love this sign:
IMG_3987.jpg

We drove in and went straight to the Check-in building.
IMG_3989.jpg

We came in and DMom went on the check-in line:
IMG_3990.jpg

Then we noticed that there was a separate line for people who did online check-in, which we did.
IMG_3991.jpg

Now DMom is on the correct line:

Again to occupy myself I took some pictures around the lobby:
Phineas & Ferb was on!

Continued in next post

We didn't want to be in the way, so me and DDad went over to look at the model Disney cruise ship:

IMG_3999.jpg

Anxiously awaiting to see where our room was!
IMG_4003.jpg

It turns out we were in Martinique building 21 & room 2162! This meant we were going to have a nice short walk to Old Port Royale! :wizard:
And even better our room was ready! And it was still early. My watch said it was:

Here are some pictures of our room:

A hidden Mickey on the bedspread!

We were all the way on the border of Martinique and Barbados, so our view from the balcony was of Barbados!

After we checked out our room, we were ready to head over to our first park!
