That sort of punishment is deplorable. My child is not perfect by any means, but her shortcomings are not met with violence. I agree that if your son stole, he should have had a punishment...but it should have been something along the lines of apologizing and having him sweep the floors or do some sort of work that you would have found agreeance on with the manager. Do you understand how detrimental that sort of behavior is? Your children are going to grow up thinking that is okay. It's not. And to think that you're so inadequate as a man that you have to use a leather belt. You're a pathetic excuse for a human being. I hope that someday your children get taken away by CPS for abuse.
My kids been taken away three times already by CPS, and guess what? I keep getting them back. So, I guess I must be doing something right. They don't give kids back three times if you're not a good parent. How many times have your kids been given back? I'm guessing none. Your yuppie ways of raising a child don't help. Kids don't learn that way. Now, a tanned hide - that they won't soon forget. Oh and I don't only use a belt. I also use my shoe, a spatula and a pellet gun if they try to run away. I guess that is wrong in your eyes also.
