I love this thread, compliments are so awesome. I actually prefer compliments from women (I'm not gay, not that there is anything wrong with that) because I find women are more competitive so I think it means more when they compliment and really mean it.

I remember after my parents split my mom lost a lot of weight and sure didn't feel to great about herself, she went to my sister's school to give my sister something and after she left my sisters guy friends said "Your mom is a **** (apparently that's blocked out on the DIS but it rhymes with filth and means a mom I'd like to...)!" When my sis told mom that night my mom said "What's a ****?" She just about died laughing when we told her what it meant but she sure lit up and I could tell it meant the world to her.
