Biggest crowd I’ve seen at the rope since the park reopened. However, once guests were dispersed throughout the park, crowds never felt too bad.

Rode Dumbo, Mr. Toad and Pinocchio in FL. Buzz had a number of issues that I’m too tired to detail here. Hopefully they’ll be resolved by the next time I’m in the park.

There were some great outfits for Dapper Day.

Some pics.

We were there! I didn’t think the parks were too crowded yesterday, but oh boy did they have issues with ride breakdowns.

I loved seeing everyone dressed up for Dapper Day… so much in fact that we booked the DLH for Dapper Days in the spring, which falls over my daughter’s 12 birthday, and we are going to hit the expo and dress up for the parks!

My dd and I were also there yesterday! I thought both parks were very crowded yesterday! It was our last day of our 3 day hopper trip where we started EE at DCA. Our room key card nor phone didn’t work at the outer gate at the DCA PP in the morning and we were the first in line! Several families were frustrated and also tried their keys and card and the gate. Security at Grand parking lot was no help. Some families opted to go through the Grand and go that route, others lined up and decided to stick it out at the DCA gate. Throughout this time people were calling PP and customer service to find someone to hep us and the line behind us started growing and as we constantly kept trying the door with no luck! A manager finally arrived at let us in asking to show a room key at 7:20 when we all got our bags checks and scanned into the parks. We were let in at DCA at 7:28am.

Since it was our last day, we rode Guardians 3 times before rope drop, also got in Soarin, and single rider RSR (it was temporarily down at least for the first hour of rope drop all 3 days we were there) before heading pack to PP to pack up.

Spent most of the day at DCA, when we checked at 1pm to see what was available at Disneyland it was all over 60 minutes wait (we opted not to do Genie+).

We finally headed to Disneyland after dinner. Kept checking on RoR since 4pm, finally went to see the status at 8:45pm to see if there was a last stitch effort to get on RoR before heading home, the CM said they been down for the past 5 hours and mangers were going to make a decision at 9pm to see if could get it up just to announce they called the ride for the day (posted time open between 8am-10pm). I know this ride was down most of the morning, and then over 140 wait when it was up, the down again late afternoon. On a happy note, I did get to ride it on Saturday with a posted tine of 55 minute where it was only 36 minute wait!

Noticed in the last 3 days, rides were down all over the place! Both RoR and RSR were always temporarily down at rope drop.

I really hope they can right the ship when it comes to ride breakdowns. You hear it from almost every report of people visiting the parks recently. I hope they can get things figured out to minimize ride down time.

Rob..... are you not trying for Pan at Rope Drop anymore? Wondering what the wait times were like for Fantasyland rides now that there are EE people in the park every morning.....

We were there on Saturday and while crowded, it was not super crazy. Early was especially nice. There was some sort of accident early after you turn on Disneyland drive from Ball that had that entire entrance blocked. We were able to go around the block through a neighborhood and then back over the fly over into the garage. There were almost no cars coming in and this was close to opening and none at security. So, a lot of people were stuck in that mess at Ball and Disneyland drive. Made the parks nice.

The parks may have seem crowded, but compared to how they were when we were there in October, it was definitely lighter. I felt like the walkways were easier to move through. But the ride breakdowns just make it worse because everyone is wandering around wondering what to do!!!!

Definitely lighter traffic this past weekend. Will be interesting to see this coming weekend with Holidays starting this Friday.

Oh Friday is going to be a hot mess, especially if the rides are breaking down as much as they were on Sunday. We’re going, and we’ve prepared ourselves… we just want to check out the decorations, eat the Christmas treats, ride IASW, and see the early parade. We’ll see what we can get done……

Did you see Walt? The guy dressed up like him was amazing! I burst into tears when I saw him with Mickey.
I think I did. Certainly I saw someone who looked a bit like him and seemed to be getting VIP treatment. Perhaps it was his grandson (if such a person exists :-)).

Not really. For the most part, lines are long for it these days. Occasionally there's an exception and then we'll ride it but short of that, we skip it. Last week the line was 15 mins at 8:00 and friends wanted to wait, so we did. Generally speaking, that's too long for me. I've been first on it twice since the new early hours. But obviously, that's rare.
