Notarized Certified Birth Certs...not in Florida

Ok just asked my boss, a notary, to notarize a copy of my DD's birth cert since we leave Saturday and I'm getting prepared...I have the original with me...ok...its against the law in Florida to copy, and notarize a copy of a birth certificate. Only originals and Cetified raised seal certified "copies" issued by the Dept. of Health Vital Records and Statistics are accepted as authentic. He even printed me out a page from the governor's reference manual for notaries, 2009 edition....so FYI to all out there planning to get a notarized copy to bring with you-you might not get it-take the original! Thought I'd share.
