Well, I've missed the DIS for a couple of days now and the pattern seems to be continuing! Argh!

We went this weekend to DS's high school first REALLY big march band competition and they won first in their division and then Grand Champion out of all 30 bands! We flipped out!

Now this weekend is an even bigger contest at WEstern Carolina Univ. (WCU) and we're getting ready for that! Gotta get some cool weather clothes as it'll be in the 40's up there! Anyone else got a band DS or DD going to the WCU Tournament of Champions? DS's schoool has never won this, but who knows?!

So my DIS-ing will be limited this week
But it's for a good cause!

I was in Marching Band in HS and the dance team captain of my Marching Band in College. All my close friends in college were music majors, and I got hooked on DCI. I love watching the shows, and I love band shows! Was it in the area?? I would've loved to go see it!

Aww Karen, the big one here was Oct. 1st! I'm sorry! DS is into DCI big time,too. He's going to go for auditions in Nov. and Dec. I don't think he'll make it, he just wants to try and see what it's like. If he tries next year he may make it!
