Not worth it to go on a Saturday?

My birthday this year is on a Saturday, and we'll just so happen to be in Shanghai. I've always wanted to be in a Disney park on my birthday so I have a chance to this year.

Is it worth going on a Saturday? Or should I suck it up and pretend Friday is my birthday?

Is this your first trip to SDL and will you only have one Park day?

Do you get to other Disney parks regularly or is this really a unique opportunity?

If you only have one day in SDL for a first time visit, I would choose a non-weekend to visit if possible. Yes, the crowds really are that insane. (Your visit won’t coincide with Golden Week will it - I think I recall you’re going in October?)

But if you have two or more days to devote to the park, or you’ve been before, I would absolutely make one of those your birthday and enjoy it!
