Was thinking about meeting Russell and Doug, and maybe Baloo&Louie.
Mid-Dayish on a Sat in April.

What are the usual wait times like for these guys?

Also, any thoughts on Dinoland Dance Party?
Worth it?
Similar to Incredibles Dance Party at MK?
Is there a nice variety of Characters, or the usuals?

TIA

I don't know about Baloo & Louie, but I really wanted to meet Russell & Dug on our last trip. We waited about 15 min around 10am when I knew they were due to arrive soon & the line only built to about 4 groups behind me by the time I was done. Unfortunately, Russell was late, so we only got Dug and returned again later around 3pm and had another wait of 15-20 min in an established line to get them both.

I happened to be in Dino land when the dance party occurred and it was cute. We didn't go up close to join in, just enjoyed the music & watched from our lines on Triceratops and Primeval. I wouldn't make a trek across the park to catch it, but I enjoyed it and would arrive in the area a few minutes sooner or hang around a few minutes later in order to catch it if I knew it was coming up. The character I most remember is the tall "walking stick" from Bug's Life.

We waited about 20 minutes for Dug and Russell. I can imagine the line being anywhere from 20-40 minutes depending on the crowds, what time it is, and where you are in line.

I would honestly be surprised if Balloo and Louie have more than a 20 minute wait, max. Their meet and greet area is not very obvious (last time we were there, there were cast members advertising the meet) and they aren't super popular characters.

I have waited 25 minutes for Baloo and Louie. To be fair the group in front of me was 8 teenagers who spent way too long with them to the point of irritation but there was quite a long line for them anyway. They were good value characters though.

We love the dinoland dance party. We happened upon it accidentally the first time and if was a huge and pleasant surprise. My Daughter loves to dance with the characters and has a blast

Not a fan of face characters, we find meering college kids dressed to kind of look like the characters from movies a little weird (except Gaston...he's awsome)
As much as my son lives Frozen, he has no desire to see two women who are in no way attached to the movie. Now, if Olaf or Sven were there he'd be all about it.

Also its generally a huge time drain. We'd prefer shows or rides.

But thats what is so great about WDW; plenty of different stuff for everyone.

I'll post pics when we get back:yay:
