Hi everyone

We are off to DLRP on Monday and as it is our first visit i want to make sure we don't miss anything. My dh and i are taking our 3 boys aged 7,4 and 1 and i wondered if you could give me a helping hand.

What attractions/rides etc would you say are a must do? Obviously we intend to do as much as possible in our 4 days but having never been i'm not sure exactly just how much there is to do and what the likelihood is of getting to do everything we want. Do you think we will struggle to do everything in 4 days?

Thanks

Sarah (who is very excited:cheer2: )

With boys you must do Buzz Lightyear Laserblast - they will love that one. We took my 15 month old on it and she was fine, as its a slow moving ride, so your 1 yr old maybe ok.

Have fun!!

Hi there,

Hope you enjoy your visit as much as everyone else here. IMO, 4 days is enough to spend in DLRP for the first time.

Our favourite rides are:
- Small World
- Dumbo
- the mad teacups
- obviously we always pay a visit to the castle
- the carousel
- cars race rally (in WDS)
- autopia (again cars but the baby can't go on it)
- the magic carpets
- Animagique (20-30min show with Mickey and Donald in WDS)
- the Lion King show

...and more and more Small World - we love it!!!

Make sure you see tha parades once - then head for attractions during parade times and you'll get on really quick :thumbsup2 And see ALL the shows - they're amazing! It can be a bit of a scrum round the characters, so you might want to book a character meal, especially with a 1 year old, if you're collecting autographs.

How exciting for you to be going on your first DLP trip.

I agree with ema74 that 4 days is plenty. I remember the first time I went... we rushed around like mad trying to do everything in the first day. Although we managed to do it all, I think it would have been more enjoyable if we had taken our time. My upcoming trip on 19th March, will be my 10th trip and it's weird but we still get the urge to do EVERYTHING on the first day.... crazy when there are another 3 days ahead of us!

My boys love Buzz lightyear ride ( so do i ;) )
Pirates of the caribbean
cars race rally

and Lion King is fab ! :goodvibes

also a character meal would be good :) have only been to cafe Mickey but it was fab,the boys loved the character interaction, they have lots of fun with the customers ( and each other )

THE must do ride for young boys is Pirates of the Carribean. It really is an awesome ride!

They will probably also like Autopia, Buzz and the car stunt show in the studios.
