Well, DH and I decided that there will be no WDW trip for our family this year. We had our first Disney vacation last year over spring break, loving DL in CA. This spring break we will visit DL in Paris (do you know that less than 5% of all visitors to DLP are american?) I was watching for codes, hoping to fit a trip to the World in right after school is out. But each set of parents is celebrating their 50th wedding anniv this summer, so those trips/parties really need to be our vacation. Because of an unusual featureof the school calendar next year, we can't take a spring break trip in '05. DH and I decided not to try to squeeze so much in and to plan for late May/early June '05.

The good thing is that DH has started becoming interested in the location of the various hotels...it would be great if he was a part of the planning. Although it is so far off, I think I'll make my reservations soon, so I can get exactly what we want (I'm thinking of a split between Contemp Tower and Yacht Club).

Missypie,

Just wanted to tell you that I feel your pain! :p We went to WDW last fall for the first time with DD and I am dying to go again this year (the same time of year or at Christmas). We are holding off until fall 2005 or January 2006, though. DH's common sense prevailed and we realized that our trip last year (which also included an additional week at other points in FL) cost too much for us to be going back to WDW this year. We are taking a vacation this year (Niagra Falls/Toronto) but will be camping and spending much less $$$. That should allow us to 'recover' and be back at Disney in full force next year. :teeth: I already can't wait!! :Pinkbounc

I'm also charging everything I can to my Disney Visa (we pay it off every month) so that will give us more time to earn more Disney $$$.

I understand how you feel. Our DS and DGK's live 2 hours from WDW and we always combine a visit with them with our WDW vacation. We went four times in 2003 and had hoped to go Spring Break this year. Now we don't know when we will get back. Our state government decided it had too many schools to fund and is consolidating small schools. As I am bookkeeper of our district and DD is a teacher here we may both be out of a job come July 1. We won't really know until June 1 what the situation is so we decided we had better save our money for the posibility of no income.
I am already in Disney and grand kid withdrawal and just saw them at XMas.
