We may get to take a trip this July, and I am not sure what to do...I have been to WDW and DL and can't decide which for July. I am worried about crowds and heat mostly. Is DL bad the 3rd week of July? I figure it is probably cooler in Ca. than Fl. at that time of year. We want to go when our kids are out of school, so basically we are stuck with 3rd week of July or possibly Thanksgiving week, which would be least crowded? thanks for any advice, I am totaly confused about all this (some problem, huh?LOL)

Thanksgiving weekend can be pretty hairy at any of the parks. It is not as humid in So Cal as it is in Florida, so you do have that going for you. I would suggest that you price out both trips and compare the value.

WDW is lush, wide open, clean, and very much a place where you can relax and take in the greenery. It is very, very big and spread out. Disneyland is in an urban setting. Things are packed in there and close together. You can walk from the resorts to the parks, through Downtown Disney. It has a different feel, but many of us prefer Disneyland Park to Magic Kingdom for many good reasons. You can't lose with either choice, so be happy!!!!
