My husband and I are going back to WDW for our 1st anniversary in May. We honeymooned there for 11 days last year and stayed in the tower at CR. Any suggestions on special things I can have sent to the room or any other ideas to celebrate our anniversary? Thanks!

Have you seen Feralpeg's gift baskets? They're beautiful and would make a great gift. She delivers to the resorts too! You can pm her for more info.

First o fall CONGRATULATIONS on your anniversary! I hope you two have a blast! We will be there in May as well for our honeymoon and I was having the same problem with deciding what to do that was "special" for this trip. I wound up booking a fireworks specialty cruise today actually. It is $140.84 and you get the entire boat to yourself, and if you are between the dates of May 18th and the 23rd there are other boats open for that specialty cruise. (I asked about other open dates before picking the day we wanted, and apparently they had a slew of cancellations for this specialty cruise in that week, normally they need to be booked 90 days in advance!) On this you leave from either the WL, Poly, CR, or the GF and watch the Magic Kingdom Fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon. I can't wait to see my husbands face when he finds out we get to do this! (I'm saving it as a surprise for him.) There are also carriage rides at FW and I believe at POFQ? It might be at POR though. There are also other tours you can book that you both might enjoy. Anyways good luck in finding something to celebrate it!

Okay I just edited this because I forgot a few other ideas! But depending on what you both like to do there is a dolphin enounter for $150.00/person that lasts about 3 hours, with about 20-30 minutes with the dolphins themselves at Epcot. There is also a shark swimming experience at Typhoon Lagoon. Anyone can swim with them and this is free, but it is too quick for our tastes. You can book for $20 a person, and $15 for the second person, a chance to spend more time swimming with the sharks. From my understanding this does not book up much so you can make reservations for this the morning you go to Typhoon Lagoon. We are going to call Disney and try to make those ahead of time though so we for sure get the chance to do that. So your husband and you might enjoy that as well. Theres nothign better than swimming with big fish! ;) Also if you both like to eat out there are a number of great restaurants there at Disney. :) Best of luck!

Thanks for the suggestions! When we honeymooned at WDW last year we went on the Gold Plan for 11 days. Believe me when I say we did and ate it all (or at least all that was included!). We ate like royalty, did 3 behind the scenes tours, golfed & took lessons, fishing, rented boats daily, and VIP viewing. Because of that experience, I was really pressed for anything special for this trip. I have already signed up for the Segway Tour because I know DH would love this. The swimming with the dolphins is something he mentioned when we were there last year and I forgot all about it, Thanks for the reminder! Also, a basket of goodies sent to the room would be great, is there a website to see what they have to offer? Thanks again for the suggestions!

Make sure you have it noted on your ressie that it will be your anniversary.
Also have it noted on any special restaurants you are going to.
I know people say not to expect Disney to do something but we have found that when these things are noted we have been given some nice perks as well as congratulations etc...
It just adds to the magic of the celebration.
And Congratulations. Our anniversary is May 31st and we will be celebrating in Disney. ( Ok We are celebrating a month early but it's when we could get away! :) )

Feralpeg is on these boards. If you send her a pm, she will give you the link to some photos of her work. They are beautiful!
