Ok here is my thing...

I am 24 years old, and forever its been a dream of mine to have BOTH my parents take me to Disneyland. They told me for years they would, but financially things werent great.

Now as an adult, I went for the first time EVER this past october with just my mom, but my dad wasnt there cause he had to work:guilty: . So now we have a "FAMILY" vacation planned for May :cool1: :goodvibes... Yup thats right, both my parents are taking me to the land. :cool1: :dance3:

2 of our family friends are going to which will make it extra fun, but I really want to do something special with just my parents. It doesnt have to be a character meal. Ive done those and im not sure dad would be up to it as although he loves disney, character meals dont seem like his cup of tea. Im trying to think of things that would be really memorable for the 3 of us. Like a professional pic infront of the castle. I am stuck on ideas. I should have some sort of clue. I've been there before, but only going once ever, maybe I missed something.

So I am open to more suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Is fantasmic running then? Balcony or riverside seating would be cool, or a nice meal somewhere. A tour maybe? Ive heard the Walk in Walts footsteps is good for adults. Well thats all my ideas, hope it helps.

Your dad might surprise you. Mine sure did. We never went to DL or DW as kids but when I was 16 my father won a trip to DW and went with my mom! My dad wasn't interested in seeing DW but was interested in touring Florida. Well it seems my parents went to DW for one day and went on every ride and had the time of their life.

How about make a reservation for the Blue Bayou. It's fun to have the peaceful atmosphere and watch the boats from Pirates of the Caribbean float by. If you want a professional picture in front of the castle, that is easy. Now they have photopass at Disneyland where you get a free little credit card sized card and there are Disney photographers around the parks. They take your picture then scan your card. Then you can go home and look at all of the photos online and can purchase those that you want.

hehe, i took my father on all the roller coasters... he seems to enjoy it well...

id say a happy family picture on Splash moutain without anyone else... ^_^
