but we just got back from our 1st disney trip & DD 5 fell in love with Cinderella - her bday is this month & i thought wallpaper a mural in her room of the castle. well i've spent countless hours on the web looking for what i want & finding lots of nice pictures but nothing that i can buy - all of them are kind of do it yourself or castles that dont look like cinderellas. (ie small grey midevil type) any ideas on where i can find an actual disney mural or something similar?? (and i have no artistic ability so that's out LOL) thanks so much!

If you have a picture or postcard you can take it to a print shop.


They can blow it up to a certain size. If you want it larger what they do is divide the picture into 4 blocks. You then reasssemble the artwork like wallpaper on the wall.

TIGGERSMOM has the right idea. But I think it would be much easier if you used an illustration of the castle from a park coloring book, than a photo or a postcard.

The coloring book illustration is a simple black and white line drawing that can be easily be blown up and trace-transferred to a wall, then the colors can be filled in. Even a "non-artist" can do it!

The Disney Catalog used to make a Castle bed. It's beautiful, the headboard is a perfect replica of Cinderella's castle. I know its not a mural, but it worked for me when I was in the same situation as you. My daughter loves it.

I also found an excellent image of Cindy that could be inserted into the scene and could also be used as a color match. I bet someone would LOVE that!
