Not sure if already posted... 'new' coaster for Blackpool

I've been largely off-board for a couple of weeks - banged my head on a coat hook quite severely two weekends ago, had concussion, so minimal computering which means minimal DISing!

Not sure if this has already been posted - Blackpool Pleasure Beach have announced a 'new' coaster for the 07 season.

Called Infusion, the official hype is an £8m inverted vekoma, 5 inversions, and a host of water effects, replacing the log flume.

The unofficial reality is: the coaster is the £5m TraumaTizer from the now-closed Southport Pleasureland, with a lick of blue paint, and the forementioned addition of water effects and a couple of tunnels.

It therefore stands to reason with a couple of quick calculations they're spending £3m roughly on relocating and heavily re-theming it.

Ok, it may not be a new coaster (hence the ' in the thread title), but at least it's something different, and it's a good reason for my group (the motley crue in my sig) to take a trip there in 2007....

I still get a pounding headache occassionally if i forget my painkillers....

Worst of it was the exhausting lingering in A&E - straight after it happened i didn't think much of it, always bashing myself about the place, but a day later i was feeling sooooo sick and dizzy in work - made it through the day, came home, could not sleep, just felt continually worse. 1am rolls round, and after a very quick conversation with NHS Direct i called my dad (DW doesn't drive) to come take us to the hospital. We were triaged and checked in to majors immediately, then told i'll be kept in for a few hours after a thorough phsyical by a very attractive female doctor *cough* under observation. SIX HOURS later at 8am, a nurse checks on me. some observation... 10am and off home....

Back at work now but still feeling it a bit! Still, got a trip to Blackpool to plan.... need somewhere to visit immediately beforehand that i've not been to before, but i've run out of theme parks in the UK

I've had that sort of thing happen at A&E. I've been brought in by Ambulance, triaged fast and put in a bed. Then 3 hours and 45 mins later they get around to giving me the drugs I need and sending me home (they get fined if it goes over 4 hours I think.) It seems so silly as they'd have another bed if they had the staff to see to people like me faster. Our hospitals are so understaffed but they're massively in debt and can;t afford any more.
