Not Staying in Housing

I have been approved to stay elsewhere but have yet to hear about where and when to check in! Anybody know when they give us that information? I am driving from New Mexico and am stopping to visit people, so I am already in Little Rock, Ar. I am starting to freak out!

it would help if you also included your check-in date, and whether you are participating in the DLR program or the WDW program (although I assume you are WDW?)

did you not receive any of the on-boarding emails they send out? If not, you need to call them ASAP.

Here at DLR, those not living in housing check in at TDA...

Check in is still at Vista. You get to skip the housing stuff, but you still have to do the other employment paperwork.

This is the email I received from housing on May 5th. I have only received the normal emails from recruiting.

"Thank you for your prompt reply. Your request to live off-site for your Disney College Program internship has been approved. Prior to your check-in day a representative from the College Recruiting office will contact you with a time to check-in at the Casting building. We look forward to meeting you in the fall.

I have emailed recruiting and not heard anything back.

I would just show up between 7:30 and 12, like the rest of the participants. The earlier the better though.

Ok I finally got a response from Disney.

"We are so excited to welcome you as a new Cast Member! Due to enhancements to our arrival process we have changed the location of your Check-In. Since you will not be living in Disney-sponsored housing, it is not necessary for you to check in at the housing complex. Please check in on 08/18 between 9:30am and 11am at the Casting Center (across the street from Downtown Disney-see address listed below).

Remember to bring your On-Boarding Paperwork, ID's for the I-9 form (such as a passport, or a driver's license and social security card), and we'll take care of the rest! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. We look forward to seeing you soon!
