(Not So Wild) Bachelorette Party Ideas

Hey y'all!!!! I just booked 3 days/2 nights at the http://www.hiltongardeninn.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=PNSPEGI ]Hilton Garden Inn [/URL] on Pensacola Beach. Actually, I was lucky enough to win this gift certificate for that stay at the Medical Examiner's Conference last September so it has saved me $700!!!!

Anyways, I am going to have a few girls stay out there with me for the weekend in September. I know we are going to order pizza, watch movies, and possibly do a scavenger hunt where we have to take pictures of what is on the list. I need a couple more ideas for games in the hotel room....

We are not wanting alcohol, strippers, etc.

Just good ol clean fun.

I am with you on the Not So Wild bachlorette Party, I am doing a very similar thing for mine.

We are going to be bringing the spa to us. We are having some one come to my house and do manicures and pedicures for everyone.

Awe, y'all sound like you'll have a blast as well!

I have been shocked by some of the games that they have on some websites... there is one called "Suck for a Buck" where you glue Lifesavers (candy) to a shirt of the bride and let guys pay a dollar to suck one of the candies off!!!!!

I am like, who would do that?!?!

In the UK this party is called a 'hen' do and the mens a 'stag' do - NO idea why

It is fairly routine for the Bride to be dressed up in a veil and have several 'L' plates (as in 'Learner' plates which are placed on a car driving by someone learning) and have a dare sheet containing stuff like Kiss a man wuth a beard/obtain some white male underware/get a picture of yourself with a bald man

The groom often ends up tied naked to a lampost and returned home by the Police

This is not what I will be doing!

One weekend night before we leave for the wedding, we are having a slumber party with us girls for my sister. We'll probably order pizza, and definitely watch our favorite Wedding movies, as well as the Friends DVD that has all the weddings.
Then my sis gets married on Tuesday and Sunday before is for just us girls--we're going to a park--probably Magic Kingdom and have some good clean fun and then grab a drink or two at the Poly--it'll be fun to let go b/4 the wedding and have some fun

I've been in 2 weddings lately, and the bachelorette parties were fun! For the first, we went out to eat, played a bunch of games at one of the bridesmaid's houses, then went out to a club (ladies' night, so it was free)! None of us are really big clubbing type people, but we got a pack of bachelorette party cards (we took out all the kissey bad ones) that she did at the club. It was so funny, and we got some great pictures!

For the 2nd one, we went to Olive Garden to eat, then back to my apartment for games. We made fun fruity drinks, then had a "make your own sundae bar," cause the bride loves ice cream! We watched some fun wedding movies, also.

Sadly, I haven't been to a bachelorette party that hasn't included that game or something very similar. The last one I was at there was a giant inflatable male part.....

I do not want anything like that. We're either having a bachelor/bachelorette type luau campout party, or go the hotel route. I love the photo scavenger hunt idea.
