Not So Nice CM?

I just called to add a request (room location) to my ressie. I waited over 15 min. popcorn:: to talk to someone and then had the rudes CM :mad: I ever experienced when calling Disney. I explained that I know the request is just that and there is no guarantee. After a couple of huffs and puffs she said in a not so nice tone that " I must understand that this is only a request and not guaranteed" didn't I just say that????????? She ended the conversation with Fine, I added it to you reservation. Good-bye!:confused3
Do you think I should still fax in my request or just leave it at that?
 
Typical, sadly, of Disney CM's at CRO these days. I don't think faxing the request in does any good any more.

I would call the resort directly 2-3 days before you arrive and request the room. By that time, your name will be in the computer and you'll get your request put on there.
 
Call back, you'll most likely get another CM. Politely ask if there have been any requests added to your reservation. If it has been added, it will show up. If the rude CM didn't do anything, you can try again with a new one. Just explain that you were trying to add a request and you lost the connection and were not sure if the CM got it all in. (little white lie won't hurt)
 
Sounds like a CM was having a bad day and you got the blunt of it.. I would try to fax a request in and call too.. Hey it can't hurt.. Worse case you get the same CM... Good Luck with your requests..
 

I always feel guilty when i request a certain room or section. By the way i have never gotten my request granted. But i figure it is still worth a try! Yesterday when i changed my dates, i chatted with the cm and she told me it was no problem to request, after all it was my money and my vacation and they would do thier best to grant it. I just hope i get someone that nice when they look at my request or when i check in.;) She told me to call four days before i arrive and talk to the hotel directly as that is when they would be assigning our room. It is wierd you can kind of tell when you get a rude cm by the tone of thier voice. Yesterday i got one and said never mind, hung up and called back later!
 
I think they are required to tell you / repeat certain things according to their training, such as her pointing out that it wasn't guaranteed, even though you'd just said that. Part of her job is to follow those script rules. Doesn't excuse the tone of course...
