Not renewing an Annual Pass...ticket question: Getting so annoyed!

You can always enter the park with her hard ticket instead of her MagicBand then no issues. We have done that before in the same situation.

Yes, we prioritized at GR before entering. Each night I logged on to MDE to make sure my 2 day ticket had not been touched.

This actually got me into trouble last year since both tickets were linked in MDE. The hard tickets (cards) are also interchangeable and work just like the Magic Bands in MDE, so the card you use may not necessarily pull from the ticket you are wanting to use. I had an Non-Expiring ticket that I did not want to touch and a 2 Day Park Hopper that I was wanting to use. *I did not prioritize at GR before going in (learned that lesson the hard way...I always make that stop now!).* I was using my hard ticket 2 Day Park Hopper (not my MB) to get into the park thinking that would make sure it was the ticket that was pulled from...not the case...it pulled days from my Non-Expiring ticket. So if your tickets are all linked in MDE no matter which hard ticket (card) or Magic Band you use whatever ticket that is listed in the system as #1 will get pulled from no matter what. Disney did fix it and added NE to my 2 Day Park Hopper but it took a lot of phone calls and emails to get worked out.

That sounds like a fluke with your MDE account. I have done it multiple times since the beginning of MB (I was part of the first test) to insure my AP would be used, and never had an issue. There is no way me scanning my AP should draw a ticket from another ticket. Just like at first Disney instructed you to scan your MNSSHP hard ticket so that your other ticket would not be used because you didn't prioritize. Scanning it protected all tickets in your account. I've had extra tickets sitting in my account over a year no issues with using my hard AP.

Haha yeah it was pretty terrible to deal with. I agree with you that scanning a card should just pull from the specific ticket on that card so maybe it was a fluke. When I was talking with the person who called in response to my email (I kept getting passed around from CM to CM on the phone and they finally told me they couldn't do anything and to email) he said that because I did not prioritize the 2 Day PH and my NE ticket was prioritized that even though I used the card for the 2 Day PH, since it's all part of the same system it pulled from the prioritized ticket which was my NE ticket (that is super wordy and I apologize for that...). So yes even though I used the 2 Day PH card, a day from my NE ticket was taken. This was last July and was my 3rd trip using magic bands, but first with multiple tickets in MDE. My cousin and I took a girls trip which was why I purchased the extra 2 Day ticket so the NE ticket remained in-sync with the same number of days as my husbands ticket. I really did think I was doing everything right so it was frustrating that it blew up in my face.
