I am trying to get a small picture in my signature in my emails (outlook express 6.0)......it won't do it unless it is an text file or html file??? Does this mean I need to upload it onto a webpage first??? The pictures I saved are like gif or jpg.

Also........I wanted to add the animated flag thing everyone is using too, to my signature in emails.........would the animation work???

thanks
Lisa

I know that you can do it with "Outlook" and fairly certain that it can also be done in "Express". If you use "RTF" (RichText) or HTML as your default mail type, you should be able to embed the images into it. I don't believe that it can be done in "plain text".

After checking on this furthur, the image does need to be uploaded first to the internet and a custom HTML page needs to be generated just for the signature to display it.

That's what I thought.......well, I finally got it into an html page..........and it finally took it as a sig in outlook but all I am seeing is a red x!!! Do you think I have to put those IMG tags in?? If so, how does that work again???

Thanks

Send me an e-mail with the signature "on" and I'll look at it.
