The weekend was nice. Poured cats & dogs Friday night. We'd left the air on in the room, promptly changed it to heat when we got back. When you do Mackinaw City or Mackinac Island, you walk. When it rains, ponchos go from 94 cents to $6.94 We didn't buy.

Oh, good! You are still here! Your shirts are great! They mickey heads came out really well! I did one yellow head and it didn't show up good at all, but the other colors did. I tried to do the heads in five different colors for the five of us.

My DD's are planning to have friends over today, so I am planning the least mommy needy activities. Youngest is great for things like "let's have a lemonade stand" or "lets make easy bake". Poolside, I can read a magazine at least!

The kit that I bought was supposed to have one yellow one blue and one red. But when I mixed the dyes the yellow came out orange....so on some of the shirts it looks orangey still, but some places it looks yellow...lol and the red went pink!! LOL Oh well, they still turned out great, and the kit was on sale at Wal Mart for $5!! I had seen it a Michael's a couple weeks ago for $25!! LOL

Do you know anything about the special dance party type thing at DHS during their evening EMH?? I had read a few months ago something about this, where the characters come out and have a dance party....sounds great, I was just wondering if they are still doing this....

Is your walmart phasing out the crafts stuff?
Mine is/did. They have very little in crafting supplies now. No material at all for sewing. (not that I have time to sew anyway)
My mom still sews, though. I see you are doing a bit for DD too. We always had matching handmade outfits when I was growing up.

A few of our Wal Marts are phasing out the sewing and part of the craft departments!! Which really makes no sense, they are taking the departments out of their more popular stores...
