Not on the dining plan - where to try?

We're not on the dining plan this trip. We used it for the past three trips, so we've only been to DDP restaurants.

What restaurants that we've been missing (because they don't participate in the DDP) should we give a try this year? I don't know much about those at the Swan and Dolphin, Downtown Disney West Side, or hotel row near Downtown Disney.

We won't have a car, so any suggestions need to be within walking distance of Disney Transportation or really really be worth the cab fare.

Okay, well, nothing at the Swan/Dolphin participates... bluezoo and Shula's get excellent reviews (no, I don't know where, I've just seen good stuff before )

Bistro de Paris, Wolfgang Puck's Upstairs, and Bongo's don't participate. And Victoria & Albert's, of course. Ditto for the Hotel Plaza Boulevard hotels - although I'm not sure there's anything truly outstanding there. Um, what else? I think that's it.

We never do the dining plan.....Bistro is wonderful, Blue Zoo was very good.
I don't care for Shula's at all but we always enjoy Yachtsman Steakhouse. Jinkos has been just outstanding everytime.
