Not on DDP, can my 11yo DS order off children's menus?

He does not eat that much and I was just trying to budget for our trip. Obviously he can't at any buffets, but just any other table service in general?

We have never had a problem with ordering a kids meal whether it was for my 11 year old DS or my 30 something BIL

You're correct that at a buffet or family-style restaurant, anyone 10 & up will be charged as an adult.

Not only has my 17 year old DD ordered from the kids menu, so haven't I. We've never had a problem.

Just to chime in, ABSOLUTELY! My 12 year old dd and my 14 year old son have both ordered kids meals all over the "world". The portions are too big, the prices are too high, and sometimes they see nothing on the adult menu that appeals. Never had a problem.

Never had a problem with ordering off the children's menu for a Disney adult.

We also have never had a problem with any of our 3 kids (over age 9)ordering from the kids menu.. ....often for the same reasons other have stated, they would just rather have the kids meals, a lot of the adult menus just don't appeal to them
