Crazy right? I was nurse.darcy in the past. But I haven't been on the boards in years. I miss the information and fun I used to have here. What happened you may ask? I moved to Florida. When Disney is your back yard, you tend to lose sight of the bigger picture that is Disney. Now that I live in Nevada again, I am sooooo excited to actually take a trip to the World with all the bells and whistles. Now I remember what it was like to plan to fly across country and stay in a resort hotel and be whisked away into the magic. I lost that when I lived in Florida. It was as easy to go to Disney as it was to go to Albertsons. I would go visit cast member friends at their places of work just because I could. I would visit friends who came to town and only stay with them for a day. I then went home and went back to my non-magical world. Now I am in Nevada and planning a trip. A magical trip where I get to be a kid for an entire week of fun. What is best is my son and his girlfriend will be there. It is like our previous August trips before I moved to Florida and before my son grew up and went into the Navy. My son is doing the planning and I am along for the ride. What fun. I, of course, am providing consulting along the way but letting the two of them do the planning. This is like an adventure. I instilled the love of Disney in my son very early. I am so glad I did. Now just get to enjoy the ride.

Woo hoo. We are staying at French Quarter. This is one of my favorite resorts (Boardwalk is my favorite, however, if not staying there, French Quarter is FABULOUS). I have noticed something. In years past, there would always be a park open till the wee hours of the morning. . .usually MK. However, during our trip no park is open later than 10 p.m. Not an issue, we are early risers, just a notice. There used to always be one day where MK was open until midnight, or one, or 2 a.m. I couldn't see Sunday hours but was kind of surprised. Any insight?
