Howdy folks,
I've been searching for reviews on the boards and haven't come up with much. We have ressies here end of May and would love to hear your comments. Thanks.

I've only seen one "real" review of the place. BUt we're going to Il Mulino on May 16th--so I KNOW there'll be another not long after that!

Can't wait to read your review when you come back Uncleromulus. We are planing on eating there in October.

Ditto! I've read a few mini-reviews here but don't see any point in repeating them when I have no direct knowledge.

What I have seen seems to be quite good. I haven't seen anything bad. I have also seen some good reviews of the restaurant it is a copy of in New York. We are going in October.

A buddy of mine stayed at the Swan a month ago and ate at Il Mulino on three occasions (with his kids, it was sometimes hard to get out to other places). He said it was hit and miss - on one occasion it was great, but on the two others, just so - so. He also commented that it was very pricey. I plan to try it on my next trip, which, alas, will not be until March 2008.

You beat me to it, Uncleromulus. ;)

I dined there Saturday night. Posted above is the link to my long review, but I'll give you the short version here. It was good. ;)

It wasn't as great as I was expecting for the reputatin and price, but definitely not bad. I would eat there again, but probably not as a regular thing. I'm not changing any ADRs for my next trip like I was considering before eating there.

OP here...thanking you all for your responses. We're going to give it a try despite the less then stellar reviews. We go to WDW often and a new restaurant always spices up the dining plans. By the looks of the portions looks like sharing might be in order. Look forward to any future reviews.
