Not getting email notifications

Clicked on User Cp, Edit Options, and under

Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

I clicked no.

If it was set that way, it might remove the threads because it subscribed to them for you instead of you subscribing to them yourself.

With it off (set to "no") if you click on the "Subscribe to this thread" link, it will keep track of them in your CP. It will not subscribe to threads you post to unless you click on that link though.
