Is anyone else having trouble with Dining this morning. Its my day 180 and I'm not getting the 10 days out........and I have a room and AP?

I had no trouble yesterday which probably doesn't help. Good luck!

It happened to me a few weeks ago. I had to wait exactly 180 for each day I am there. I just called and booked over the phone and have since modified some of the times. The CM told me that some people were having issues with MDE and I was one of the unlucky ones. Such a pain, but I ended up with everything I wanted.

I had that issue the last 2 years. I had to call to book 180 +. The cm had no idea why. Good luck.

I'll be on the phone @ 7am................what stinks is we didn't get BOG because of all this...........my niece is so upset.............and so am I

Hopefully something will open up for BOG. I was able to book a breakfast, lunch and dinner over the last few weeks for BOG for this august. The touring plans reservation finder was amazing.

Ok here's the deal............we have a split stay in Nov...........4 to 6th at Ft WCabins then 6 thru 11th at POP. What I was told is because today is day 180 for the first stay, and that stay only goes through the 6th.........that's as far as I can go. I was unaware of this linkage in ADR to reservation stay :( My Day 180 for the POP Reservation is Wednesday...........its then that I will open up Nov 7th thru 11 o_O. Ugh!!! We've done splt stays before and I cannot recall that we ran into this issue. For now it is what it is. My sister-in-laws day 180 is tomorrow...........she's getting up at 4:50am AGAIN! :)

You can never do it all at WDW..........and you can never know it all..........lesson learned. This is why I would never be a TA.

Exact same situation here, due to split stay. I, too, have never had this issue with split stays in the past. It is a bummer, as it really does put us at a disadvantage in booking later days in the week. Good luck with your reservations!

Yep...split stays are two separate reservations, with two separate "180 + length of stay up to 10 days" dates*. Disney does not recognize split stays...it's two separate reservations. It's always been that way, as far back as I can remember.

*This is the correct term. The only time "180 + 10" is correct is if a single reservation is 10 days or more.

You're more likely to have not gotten BOG because of other people's +length of stay, and the restricted availability of dinner shifting demand. (Fewer dinners are available 6 months out right now due to MVMCP.)

The online system changed about three years ago. The "+10" benefit has always been marketed as "length of stay," but the online system wasn't that smart. It used to just let you book a full 10 days into the future regardless of the length of your stay. Now, however, it actually limits you based on your reservation. Perhaps that's why it wasn't a problem in the past.

Yep!

Looks like Disney is slowly closing "loop holes" in their tech systems. As others pointed out the system use to be set to +10 no matter what because it was easier. Now that more and more places are getting booked at 180 they tighten up that system to know what your length of reservation is.

Interestingly I didn't have this issue for my June split stay........now to be honest when I booked it I may have been at the 180 day stay for the second reservations............but again we had a split stay last November (1 night in a Princess Room at POR) and didn't run into this problem. I was able to book ADR's for all nights of our trip on that first night o_O

Guess it doesn't matter now.............whats done is done. What this does is make me wary of ever booking a split stay again. Although there's always alternatives :P

Sure looks that way :( I now know how the veterans of the old FP system felt when the FP+ came in

My guess is you did the math wrong. This has been a problem for ADR's for about three years now. On the other hand, the FP+ system recognizes continuing reservations, so you won't have a problem there.

OP - I had the same problem last week. Online, using my laptop, would only allow me to book 180 days not for my entire stay. It was very frustrating since I had gotten up early so that I could book online prior to going to work. I was ready to call at 7 a.m. About 6:50 a.m. my phone finally permitted me to book for my entire stay. My laptop is still limiting me to the 180 days for each reservation instead of for my entire stay.
