I am very upset when I called Disney Visa and they told me not everyone gets the code . I asked to speak to a manager. She told me that even that I have been a member of the Disney visa card since 2004, I was not picked to get the code. Anyone else heard of this? She hinted that it mainly went out to more recent members. :guilty::guilty:

You need to call Disney, not Chase. Ask for the DV discount. You don't need a special pin.

Wow! I'm a recent member and I didn't get one. Even if you can just call Disney and get the discount, they should notify everyone. I guess not only is the Disney magic gone for us, but now Chase Visa is going to be history.

Chase sends the emails. I've never gotten one and neither has my mother.

I rarely get the emails and sometimes they are not listed on the website until the afternoon.

When I see it posted on the DIS boards I call Disney and get the discount applied. You always have to use your Disney Visa to get the discount.

That sounds like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Why not just call and use the Disney visa offer? You don't need the pin to book the offer, so what's the big deal? Am I missing something? :confused3

Right? I get being annoyed at having to check a forum for the latest deals, but is someone really going to throw away a couple hundred dollars of savings to take a stand on something Disney will never pay any mind to? :confused3

I've cancelled my trip because of other issues related to Disney not free dining or DV.

That doesn't mean that I can't voice my opinion or seek out information that may effect our future plans. Very tired of judgmental people here (a few repeat offenders - not you). That's a huge part of the magic being gone.

We had a trip booked for 12/24-12/30. We had discussed about arriving a day earlier because I noticed my frequent flyer miles had better choices and rates for the 23rd. When rumors circulated about the FD dates I talked with my wife and it cemented coming one day earlier. I didn't receive the offer in the email from my DIS Visa but went ahead yesterday and changed our vacation without any issues. As of today I STILL have not received an e-mail about the FD promotion.:santa:

I did not get notification of the code (it doesn't help us because we are going the week of 8/24) but I think it is the first time I have not gotten an email about a Visa promotion like this since I got the card since 2008.
