We didn't end up booking the Dolphin after all. If any of you remember, I have been hemmin' and hawin' for months about trying the Dolphin (DH is Gov.employee). After much research and Dis assistance I decided to take the plunge. Well when I called for a reservation for my family of 5, I was informed that if we wanted the rollaway, even for a child, there would be a $25 charge per night. I had thought that if the 5th was a child there was no charge, (that is true if you do not require/want a rollaway). All things considered, we went with the Poly with a post card rate (equal to AP). I really do want to do the Epcot resort area someday soon, but with DD's 9, 6, 4 (I meant to say princesses) the monorail and MK location, for about equal price, won out for this trip. I am a little disappointed, though, because I had pumped myself up for a new experience at the Dolphin.

Oh, well... I will have to "settle" for a return to an old favorite...Polynesian here we come!

Just for the record you can always buy an aerobed or a blow up bed (I've seen them in Sears now for less than $40) and pack it in a suitcase.

My dd will sleep on ours if she doesn't have her own regular bed. I've recently seen them with "Princess themes" at Sears and Target (the bed blows up) and the sheets are attached somehow.

We have a regular aerobed we paid about $50 for that we've used on several trips. Definitely gotten our money's worth.

Just a thought:tongue:

I'm not sure that it was correct, but they told us that we would need to pay $25 for the rollaway AND a $25 extra adult fee for our 19-year-old. When you added that and the resort fee, the discount Dolphin rate wasn't so good any more.

Just curious....why admit your son is 19? It is not like they are going to care or card him once you get there.:earsboy:
