Someone said on another thread about not doing online checkin at Aulani in order to be able to speak with someone at the desk about your room before you accept it. I hadn't thought about this. Maybe I should not do online check-in.... 
I booked a Pool view (hotel room) so I know that means 7th floor or lower and I'm hoping that means a view of the Waikolohe Valley and not the view of the pool on the other side of the building. I did call and request 2 Queen and highest floor.
Any thoughts on this strategy?
