Not disney related but Mobile, AL hotels?

I'm trying to help a friend who is trying to book a business trip.
Is anyone familiar with Mobile, AL? Can anyone recommend a hotel in Mobile? The trip is not in the near future but my friend needs to start planning.

No recommendations, but I love the feature on yahoomaps where you can get a map of the area and then have the hotels plotted out on it. I used it last night to find hotels along my route to WDW.

Just go to the yahoo page and then choose "maps". When you get the Mobile area on your map, you can choose the features for the map to the right. You can also have restaurants, etc.

I also like to use the AAA tour books for finding hotels. They're free to members.
