Not Disney - Is this allowed - Which other entertainment areas have you gone to while in Orlando?

We are staying at the Royal Pacific Resort. Looks nice enough, but it is not the 1br DVC suite that we are used to. However it does come with the express pass unlimited as part of the deal.
We Love RPR! It's such a beautiful resort with excellent people working there. We always want a resort with a tropical feel since we live in the frozen North, LOL. It's beautiful and easy to get to the parks. You might want to do club level if you want more pampering. I don't think you will be disappointed. The EP is a nice perk, but sometimes you don't need it at Universal. I guess it depends on when you go? We used it most of the time but it wasn't really needed at everything.

Thanks! We picked it due to the proximity to the parks and the ExpressPass. Looks great and I haven't heard a negative comment. Will miss the balcony that we get with DVC resorts. Who know maybe a new family tradition in the making

I have family that swears that Discovery Cove is the best theme park in Orlando. I have not been, but it may be of interest to you. I love the Space Center. If you're looking for something more low-key and depending on your kid's ages, the Orlando Science Center is not. It's on the smaller side and can be done in 4 hours. It's a nice change of pace. For adults, shopping/ eating on Park Ave in Winter Park and take a canal boat ride from there is fun. The Morse Museum on Park Ave is top notch, too. It's centered around Tiffany's glass works.
agree that Discovery Cove is on a whole different level - higher - that any other Orlando attraction. But like the Mouse, they charge you $$$ for it.

It's been a while but I've also gone to KSC. Since I'm basically a Disney snob and live right next to the parks I don't go much to the other attractions. KSC however is very interesting to me. Perhaps because I grew up at the start of the space age (yes, I'm old) and remember the early days of space exploration. It's been a while since my last visit to KSC but I'm planning one soon.
