Not being able to get Vinylmations autographed?

I've heard several different rumors about getting vinylmations autographed by the characters at WDW. Does anyone know if you can or can't? We have a white 9" Mickey one that we would love to get autographs on!

I tried on the Disney cruise a couple of weeks ago and it was a bust. They were all willing to sign but it was such a pain to carry around and the few we did get to sign looked terrible. I think they just aren't used to it and it was tricky for regular people characters (peter pan) much less the ones with gloves (goofy). We gave up and I am going to see if I can figure out how to get the signatures we did get OFF of the vinylmation
