I chose to automatically log-in when I return to this site but it is not working. Is it my computer? I only started having this problem recently. I started noticing that when I would get onto the boards the most recent post had a time nowhere near to the current time. I found that I had to log-on and need to do this everytime I get on the boards. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you changed anything lately? Are you set up to accept cookies?

LisaTx,

I think what is happening is when I receive an e-mail notifying me that there was a response to a post I made, when I link to the post I am not logged in. Maybe that is normal and I just never noticed it before. When I get on my computer and go directly to the boards from my opening page I remain logged on. Am I making any sense?

Has anyone tested this yet that can help out? I haven't even tried that feature yet.

Thanks, JC. I subscribed to this thread. I'll try to test it. :)

Ok. I'm assuming you get a message when I post this.

I just got an email message. I closed all of my other windows first, then clicked on the link provided in the email.

I'll click on submit and see if it says I'm not logged in.

Nope. It let me post just fine. No mention of not being logged in.

Any ideas, JC?

Roxxanne: Can you give us more information about what browser you are using and the email client as well? It could be giving you a filtered link (like Hotmail does) and I that can goof things up sometimes.

JC,

I use Microsoft Internet Explorer. I do not subscribe to hotmail. My internet access is through our local cable company and my address ends in athome.com. I hope this answers your questions.

JC,

Right after my response, I pulled up the thread to see if I was logged on and I was so I don't know what the deal is. Like I said previously, if I went to the boards from my Excite start page, I was always logged on but if I linked from a response on my e-mail I was not logged on but not this time. Looks like I no longer have a problem. Thanks!!
