Not at my home resort

So, if I plan to stay not at my home resort and I do call 7 months out, should I plan to get what I want? We ususally go early Dec or Jan. Or should I book at my home 11 mos out and then try to transfer? Anyone call 7 mos out and not be able to book?

January should not be a problem except for BWV standard and BW views plus the GV, VB will be fairly tough for Jan but not as much as Feb, March and early April. All else should be a good chance as it stands now. Dec is another matter. For BCV, VWL & BWV, I wouldn't hold my breath. It might work out sometimes but is a major risk IMO.

Actually, I think it is a risk at ALL DVC resorts for early December. January should not be an issue as long as you are flexible and don't plan on New Year's Eve.

VWL is pretty small, also BCV. So if you wasnt to stay there, plan on day by day reservations. ANd, yes, book you stayat your home rsort at 11 months so you'll have somewhere to stay if you can't transfer to the other resrot.
