Not a shopper but must buy Disney stuff for Christmas

I am so NOT a shopper. The shopping gene skipped a generation because my mom and my daughters love shopping. Me, the worst part of Disney vacation is buying souvenirs. I just hate shopping.

So today my dd supplied me with her Christmas wish list for her kids. They will be making their first trip to WDW in February with the other set of grandparents. (No jealousy, we could never afford to take their family and I am thrilled that my grandkids are getting to go, and I know I'll get lots of pictures.)

So, tell me where the best place is to buy pins and lanyards and jackets and sweatshirts and anything else you think might be a good idea. (Girls 11 and 8, boy 4.) I want the most bang for a buck because we are on a strict budget and I'm pretty sure the folks here on this board are going to be my best bet for finding that.

Thanks. :thumbsup2

Well, you can find Disney stuff almost anywhere these days! Obviously, the Disney Store has official merchandise, some even from the parks, but they can be pricey. You should sign up for their emails and they will send you promotions and let you know when things are on sale. I'm sure they will have good sales around Thanksgiving.

Another place I've recently discovered is Hot Topic. They have a lot of Disney stuff (mostly for adults) but they do also have lanyards that are cheaper than at Disney. Do a search for Disney and they will come up.

Other good places to try: Zulilly when they run the Disney themed specials, Kohls, Target, Walmart, etc.

Oh, something else I've recently seen are Disney Jelly Bellies with the Frozen theme, Minnie theme, Lightening McQueen, Star Wars, etc.. If you have a Jelly Belly outlet nearby that's your best bet, but I have also seen some cute $1 packs at Xmas time in the Target stocking stuffer bins.

Embrace your inner shopper and have fun!

My local Disney Outlet actually gets stock from Disneyland (and I'm in Chicago). Some of my favorites have come from the outlet at a fraction of the cost. Of course it's hit or miss in terms of how much they have and if I like it, but most of the time when I go they have a pretty decent back corner full of Disneyland (for whatever reason they never get World, just Land).

I don't know that all of them get park stock, though, because the newer Disney Outlet in the suburbs doesn't seem to get parks merchandise at all.
