she has a history of febrile seizures. they have never been as bad as this one. or anywhere near as bad as this one. she developed a fever midflight home. thank GOD the seizures came after we landed and not mid-flight.

we are at A I Dupont in Wilmington De. Yesterday was a bad day she blew out 6 IV'S and we needed to put in a central line which we needed to sedate her for. last thing i wanted to do was sedate my baby who is having a tough time coming out of the last sedation. praying today is a better day and that my little girl is back to who she was on Wed before this all began real soon

Sorry they had to put in the central line. I am praying for wisdom from On High for ALL the Medical staff that helps your little girl. How frightening for YOU and her!

Have you gotten a chance to step away for a little bit? Even though you may step away, she'll still be in your thoughts.

yes they will bring meals to the room for me. every so often when i know the nurse will be with her and she is sleeping i will sneak out and go down to the cafe for something to eat or drink. the staff here is wonderful, i could not ask for a better group of people to be taking care of my baby

I'm so sorry, what a terrible way to end your magical vacation . My heart and prayers go out to you and your sweet little DD. I pray she has a better day, the drs. discover the source of problem and she has a speedy and complete recovery. Our little DD2 suffered monthly terrible grand mal seizures, (now referred to as tonic-clone)
from the age of 1 to 2yo for no rhyme or reason, so I truly feel your fright and heartache. Godspeed ^i^
