on day same day funeral for officer killed in Dix Hills crash

OMG! I live one town over from Dix Hills and didn't hear about the boy. That is so tragic. I was in Medford today and got caught up in the funeral traffic for the police officer, that was another sad tragedy. This has been a very bad month.

my girls don't go to camp there anymore, but they were enrolled at that camp when they were younger -- they went to preschool there, too. the owner was on the news and was too devastated to talk.

I believe Evil Princess used to be a counselor at that camp.
