so me and DH are booked for December 30th (arrive late) and leave 2nd jan.

I know that there are set menus for NYE but are these everywhere? any way to escape these high prices?

we would also like a sit down mean on jan 1st. are the restaurants back to normal then? any recommendations? we like most foods..

I have never booked meals at DLP before so any help you can give me would be great.

we are staying at the Kyriad and will most likely be at the studios park on 1st.

Thanks

Sorry I can't help with the New Year meals at all but I would totally recommend Walts while you are there, it's my favourite!

Hopefully someone else can help with advice on the other meals...

Have you read any previous New Year trip reports to see what they did?

For a sit down/buffet meal (rather than fast food) on NYE the options look like Agrabah Cafe and the Silver Spur Steakhouse in the Disneyland Park and Restaurant Des Stars in the Studios.

In the Disney Village there is Cafe Mickey and (I think now) King Ludwigs where you can prebook, and the Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood and Annette's Diner where you just have to turn up (not really recommended on NYE)

Have a look at the menus on dlrpmagic and ring +33160304050 to make your dining reservations as soon as you have decided.

I second Walt's for a nice meal on Jan 1st, even though it's in the Disneyland Park, it isn't far to go if you're visiting the Studios. :)

thanks guys, I had a very quick look for trip reports but couldn't see any. I'll have a proper search when i have the time.

I really hate not knowing what I am doing :rotfl: I am so used to being able to book things for WDW and knowing where things are and what they are that I feel totally lost!

I think we will maybe go for a buffer lunch on NYE and skip the rush for dinner.

I'll take a look at Walts for Jan 1st though - thanks for the tip :goodvibes

We booked the silver spur steakhouse the other day for NYE but they couldn't tell us how much it was going to cost, how could they not know?! We will keep the res but if it's stupid prices (as I noticed some of the other places were when we've been on NYE in the past) we just won't go!

I'd be calling them asap as the restaurants that aren't doing special meals for the 31st/1st are booking up fast. :)
