Does DCL go to Stavanger Norway? If so, has anyone used a private company to cruise to Pulpit Rock and know the name of it? Thanks for any help.

We stopped in Stavenger on our cruise 2 years ago and cruised Lysefjord which passes pulpit rock. We took the Disney excursion though so don't know the name of the company.

We also went through Disney as the ship only stopped in Stavenger for a short time and the local company's schedule didn't work for us. The local company that offers the Lysefjord cruise which goes past Pulpit rock is http://www.rodne.no/en/. There may be others, but I believe that is the one most have used. The Magic docks just steps away from the local tour boats, so if the time works for you, it would be very easy to go with Rodne and probably save some money.

Thank you very much Pens Fan. I must admit that we chose not to cruise with DCL for the Baltics. We are taking a Viking ocean cruise and trying to figure it all out. I will most certainly check out your link! Thanks again.

I'm so glad! The Lysefjord is just breathtaking. Enjoy! Stavenger also seemed like a really charming town to explore, but we didn't have much time. I guess it's just an excuse to go back.

Come back and tell us about Viking after your cruise. I'd love to hear about that line and I'm sure others will as well.
