Reviving this thread a little bit Since it's near Airfare booking time for most people!

I believe we are going to fly roundtrip Washington -> London, and book a one way Lond->CPH. (We are on the repo)..

I added info about rail travel in London also...
Repo people are looking at 'DVP' for travel from dover by train

There out very soon. They have to be out by the 130 days mark for concierge to ore order at 125 days.

Not necessarily. From DCL's website:

You can look forward to exploring an exciting array of Port Adventures when they become available. Be sure to check back for Port Adventures approximately 120 days prior to departure, as you'll want to book in advance.

Reykjavic and Oslo are already out, so it stands to reason the remaining ones are soon to follow. We are booking almost all independently, but I'm still curious to see what DCL offers.

Actually they just added numerous Olso excursions within the last week or so. Prior to that, there was just a few.

Has anyone looked into the options of private tours in St. Petersburg? I have heard good things about SFB and Alla tour companies but I was wondering if anyone knew about them firsthand and, in particular, if they are too busy for children.
All of the excursions in St. Petersburg seem to lack something. Of course I am still hopeful they may add a "princess gathering" like I've heard they did on their last stop several years ago.

I'm interested in this, too. I am oddly unimpressed by the excursions offered there, mostly because I'll have 9 yo ds with us. He will not enjoy museums and old buildings for long.

Couple that with older dd's burning desire to take the ballet class offered (which currently is scheduled for the middle of the afternoon), and we may need to tailor something that suits our multigenerational family better.

We used Segway Tours in 2010. They were right near where we ported. We went first thing in the morning and went shopping after lunch. They were very professional and reasonably priced.

Book with these, I used them in 2010 I have booked with them for this summer as well, cheaper than DCL and you fit more in.

You do NOT need a visa, they send you a email ticket that acts as your pass through Border control.

We feel for you in the 11 night Norway/Iceland sailing on 6/29. We are chomping at the bit as well and we have several B2B2B folks with us and they know hardly anything.

The 6/20 sailing prior to ours (Norway sailing) has NONE up since it doesn't even go to Oslo!! I can't do the math fast enough - is that yours? I hope it's soon!!!
