I've had the rice cream, I put off trying the school bread for many years and now,I have to have both each time. However, I don't ever remember seeing or trying the Veiled Maiden. What is it?

So many possible ways to answer this, but I'm pretty sure they're all wrong. ;)

never tried it. . .but found this description of the dessert. . .

Traditional Norwegian dessert is a delicious combination of cinnamon-spiced applesauce, buttery, toasted breadcrumbs and walnuts and vanilla-scented whipped cream.
:)

I had this at Epcot a few weeks ago. It is a very light dessert, and a little bland, in my opinion. It's served in a plastic cup, parfait-style. The apple part is like a chunky applesauce. It is served cold, from the refrigerated section.

Sounds awful.

Did you have the Chef's special and did you have to choose one of three desserts?

In the past you could choose any dessert, but I saw a menu recently where you could only get sugar free pudding, veiled maiden or rice pudding.

Just wondering. Thanks.

The description sounds like it is right up my alley but I wonder if the Disney version will live up to it?

Really, it was nothing special. I will not order it again.

I didn't have the chef's special, and don't remember what that was, so sorry that I can't answer about the 3-dessert choice.

Well, the description above sounds really tasty, however Disney's version below seems rather disapointing, perhaps that's the reason I've nerver noticed it before! I guess I'll stick to the school bread!

Thanks every one!
