Northwest Territories DISers?

I think we have a few DISers from the Northwest Territories, but even if you're from good old Ontario, you might enjoy at peek at Olena's ~Natural Province~ thread.

Unless anyone else speaks up, I think I'm the closest to being Northwest Territories.

I grew up there, and lived there for about 25 years, but now live in Calgary. When I joined DIS, I was still living in NWT.

The natural resources of the NWT are very beautiful but different. Instead of towering trees, there are a lot of lakes and water and rocks. The midnight sun is what I miss the most. (next to my family, who are still there)

I might be second. Although I was born on the prairies and now live in Ontario, my sister has lived in Yellowknife for 16 or 17 years now. We visited a few years ago at the height of blackfly season, and the scenery is magnificent - even if the flies aren't.
